The 2025 Tata Sierra was launched on November 25 at an introductory price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Furthermore, Tata Motors also revealed the Sierra ROQ Edition

The 2025 Tata Sierra offers three main powertrain choices — petrol (NA), petrol (turbo), and diesel — all driving the front wheels.
1) 1.5-L Naturally Aspirated Petrol (Revotron)
- Power: ~106 PS
- Torque: ~145 Nm
- Transmissions: 6-speed manual / 7-speed DCT automatic
Smooth and efficient for everyday driving, but modest acceleration compared with rivals.
2) 1.5-L TGDi Turbo-Petrol (Hyperion)
- Power: ~160 PS
- Torque: ~255 Nm
- Transmission: 6-speed automatic
Best overall balance of performance and smoothness; strongest in the lineup.
In independent high-speed testing, the turbo petrol version has even hit ~222 km/h on track, showing its strong performance potential in the segment.
3) 1.5-L Kryojet Turbo Diesel
- Power: ~118 PS
- Torque: ~260 Nm (manual) / ~280 Nm (automatic)
- Transmissions: 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque-converter automatic
Strong torque makes it good for highway cruising and loaded driving.
